• You must provide two photographs of yourself and each accompanying family member with your Switzerland Passport application.
• Avoid white clothing because the portrait background for Swiss Passport Photographs is white.
• It is best to remove your glasses to eliminate any chances of rejection because of reflections.
• Your expression must be neutral with no frowning or smiling.
• Swiss ID photos must be taken by a professional studio.
• The color photographs must be identical and taken within the last six months.
• The photographs must be clear, well defined and taken against a plain white or light-coloured background.
• If the photographs are digital, they must not be altered in any way.
• Your face must be square to the camera with a neutral expression, neither frowning nor smiling, and with your mouth closed.
• You may wear non-tinted prescription glasses as long as your eyes are clearly visible. Make sure that the frame does not cover any part of your eyes. Sunglasses are not acceptable.
• A hairpiece or other cosmetic accessory is acceptable if it does not disguise your normal appearance.
• In swiss passport photos head wear is only allowed on religious ground
• Passport and Visa photo sizes and quantities of photos required change frequently. Please verify the photo specs with your embassy prior to visiting our studio.
• Teeth showing in Swiss passport photos is unacceptable.
• Swiss passport specs glasses must not obscure the eyes in any way

Our studio will create two identical Swiss Passport Pictures that will be exactly 35mm x 45mm finished size with a head size of 29mm to 34mm from chin to the crown of the head (top of skull and not top of hair). For children 11 years old or younger the head size must be between 23mm to 34mm. Passport photos for Switzerland will be have a gloss finish with no hard shadows and will be photographed in front of a solid white or light gray background.

The entire process should take less than five minutes.
