• Avoid white clothing because the portrait background for Mexican Visa Photographs is white.
• It is best to remove your glasses to eliminate any chances of rejection because of reflections.
• Your expression must be neutral with no frowning or smiling.
• You should be looking directly at the camera. Pictures even slightly in profile have been known to be rejected.
• Your face should fill between 70 to 80% of the photo area.
• Mexican Visa pictures must be taken by a professional studio.
• Passport and Visa photo sizes and quantities of photos required change frequently. Please verify the photo specs with your embassy prior to visiting our studio.

Mexican visas are documents issued by the National Migration Institute, dependent on the Ministry of the Interior, with the stated goal of regulating and facilitating migratory flows. Citizens of some countries do not require visas to enter Mexico. Before traveling to the country is makes sense to check with the Mexican Embassy nearest you as to whether or not you need a visa.

The ID photos for Mexico are identical for Mexican Passports and Mexican Visas.

Feldman's Photography will create four identical Visa photos for Mexico that will be exactly 35mm x 45mm. Although three photographs is the official quantity required, the authorities are known to often ask for an additional one while the application is being processed. Submitting an extra Visa Photograph will save time. As required there will be no hard shadows with a solid white background.

Three Types of Mexican visas:

1. Tourist visa - This visa is solely for the purpose of leisure travel including vacationing, cruising, sightseeing and other recreational activities. If during any portion of your visit to Mexico you intend to engage in business, or official duties please refer to other relevant visa sections.
2. Business visa - This visa is required if during any portion of your visit you intend to conduct business or commercial activities. Please note such visas can only be issued to travelers not being paid for work by an entity within the Mexico. If you intend to undertake paid work in Mexico you will need to obtain a work visa.
3. Cruise visa - This type of visa is required by travelers undertaking a cruise in Mexico. The holder must be part of an organized cruise and only intend to disembark for limited time-periods.
